PHOTO AND HUMOR BOOKS

DO THEY LOOK LIKE THEIR DOG…AND WHY? is a follow-up book to the novelty humor photo book Do You Look Like Your Dog, published in January 2004 by Broadway Books/Random House.  It is designed to be a more in-depth book, featuring not only photos of people from the U.S. and other countries that look like their dog, but stories from these people, comments from psychologists and veterinarians about why people are drawn to dogs with a similar personality or qualities, and brief highlights about the breeds which most people think they look like and why.  It is designed to be not only sold through the usual bookstore channels, but marketed with a variety of tie-in products through special marketing channels that appeal to the over 70 million dog-owners and the many millions more who love dogs.  Possibilities include tie-ins with pet food companies, pet retailers, dog shows, and the growing number of individuals and companies providing services for dogs, including pet parties and training. Some spin-off projects that could use the photos in the book include calendars, posters, greeting cards.  A spin-off TV reality/game show is in the works with a TV producer.  (Proposal).

DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR PET? is another follow-up book to the novelty humor photo book Do You Look Like Your Dog, published in January 2004 by Broadway Books/Random House.  It is designed to be a similarly short novelty book with pictures of people with different types of pets, including not only dogs and cats, but birds, fish, horses, and pet snakes and iguanas. 

DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR MATE; DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR LOVER.  Lots of people do, because people are drawn to partners who are similar or grow more alike over time.  This book of photos is a follow-up to the author’s latest book: DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DOG to be published in January 2004 and the author is already starting to collect pictures from all over the U.S. and internationally from the Web sites: www.doyoulooklikeyourmate.com and www.doyoulooklikeyourlover.com. This could be published as two separate books or combined into one.

DO YOU LOOK LIKE A CELEBRITY?   Many people do, and one celebrity look-alike agency has about 150 celebrity look-alikes who do professional gigs.  But there are many non-professionals who look like celebrities, too. This book features photos of people who look like the most well-known celebrities, along with brief accounts of their experiences in being taken for their celebrity look-alike.
